Shelf: Library Reader

Shelf reads from a Calibre-Web, Komga or OPDS server you run or have access to.

Getting started

Open Shelf, tap Add Your Library, and enter your server's address. Shelf works out which sign-in it needs. Project Gutenberg and Unglue.it are built in if you want to try the reader first.

Common questions

• "Unable to reach the server." Check that the address opens in a browser on the same network. Shelf tries HTTPS first, then HTTP.
• "Sign in again." The server rejected the saved password. Calibre-Web limits sign-in attempts, so wait a minute before retrying.
• Reading progress is written when you close a book. Calibre-Web needs Kobo sync enabled on the server for progress to reach other devices.
• Downloads are kept on the device and are not backed up; the server keeps the originals.
